• The OE hood-strut mount is only for temporary use while performing under-hood maintenance.
• Hood pins are required for safety.
• A heat shield is required.
• Anderson Composites does not recommend reinstalling gas shocks, dampers, or struts because OE gas struts place excessive pressure on a composite hood.
• Always close the hood carefully; slamming or dropping it may cause cracking.
• Professional installation is recommended. Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process.
