Our Story
Built From the Cars We Drive
MPR Performance grew from more than two decades of my hands-on experience with Ford, Shelby American and the Mustang community. I’m Manny “Mustang Manny” Galvan. I’ve built my career helping enthusiasts purchase exceptional performance vehicles, personalize them and bring their vision to life.

Twenty-Two Years of Ford and Shelby Experience
For 22 years, I worked at Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas, ultimately serving as High-Performance Vehicle Manager. I oversaw Shelby and specialty-performance vehicle purchases from the initial sale through conversion, financing, title documentation, transportation, and final delivery.
Many customers never needed to visit Las Vegas. I served clients throughout the United States as well as internationally, coordinated their vehicles with Shelby American, then verified that each completed car arrived exactly as ordered.
During those years, I worked directly with Carroll Shelby and assisted his family, friends, clients, and members of the Shelby American organization. That same hands-on, concierge-level service remains the foundation of MPR Performance today.
MPR Performance Begins
In 2007, while continuing my career at Gaudin Ford, I purchased a new 2007 Mustang GT. That car became the beginning of MPR Performance.
We transformed nearly every part of it. The build featured a Kenne Bell supercharger, custom wheels, upgraded suspension, a custom audio system, plus extensive performance and appearance modifications.
The finished GT was featured in 5.0 Magazine and Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords. Ford displayed it at SEMA, where it was recognized among the show’s top 50 Mustangs.
After other Mustang owners saw the build, they began asking us to help plan and modify their vehicles. What started as one personal project grew into a company dedicated to turning enthusiasts’ ideas into finished automobiles.
Built to Prove What’s Possible
-
2013 Shelby GT500 Widebody
I purchased this Shelby GT500 in 2013. Because of my relationship with Jim Bell, the car spent approximately one year at Kenne Bell Superchargers as an early development vehicle for the 5.8-liter engine. Its 4.9-liter supercharger setup ultimately produced approximately 1,100 horsepower at the rear wheels.
After the development work was completed, we continued the build with JE pistons, Carrillo rods, Comp Cams, American Racing Headers and extensive suspension upgrades. We also added a Shelby widebody conversion, Anderson Composites carbon fiber, HRE 590RS wheels, custom paint and a complete audio system.
Inside, we installed our exclusive MPR Carbon steering wheel, custom dash kit, navigation bezel, center-console trim, window-switch covers and door-latch covers. Every MPR Carbon component is made in the USA.
Ford displayed the finished GT500 at SEMA. Its power, appearance and viral highway videos helped make it one of MPR’s most recognizable builds throughout social media and the Mustang community.

2016 Shelby GT350R
I purchased one of the first 2016 GT350Rs delivered to our dealership and turned it into a complete MPR Performance showcase.
We equipped its naturally aspirated 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 with a cold-air intake, custom tuning, American Racing long-tube headers and a complete exhaust system, increasing output to approximately 600 horsepower.
For the exterior, we installed extensive Anderson Composites components, including a carbon-fiber hood, front splitter, side rockers and rear diffuser. The car also features a carbon-fiber roof, carbon trunk, Track Pack-style wing, mirror caps and exposed-carbon wheels from the 2020 Shelby GT500.
Inside, we added our exclusive USA-made MPR Carbon collection: a carbon-fiber dash, navigation bezel, shifter bezel, door-latch covers, window-switch covers, map-light assembly and custom steering wheel. Alcantara covers the headliner and pillars, while a complete Focal audio system transforms the cabin.
After extensive upgrades and track time at Laguna Seca, it remains one of my favorite driver’s cars.

The MPR Difference
When you contact MPR Performance, you speak with people who genuinely understand these cars—not someone simply reading a product description. We have installed, tested, and driven many of the products we sell. That experience helps us recommend proven combinations. It also allows us to help customers avoid expensive mistakes, with support continuing long after the sale.
Every build begins with listening. We take time to understand the customer’s vision, provide honest guidance, then create the right solution. Many customers who originally came to us for a vehicle, conversion or parts became longtime friends. That level of personal service remains the standard at MPR Performance.
If You Can Imagine It, We Can Build It
Whether you need the right part, expert technical guidance or a complete custom Mustang build, MPR Performance is ready to help turn your vision into reality.
