Fitment Notes
Properly installed hood pins are required before operating the vehicle. Do not drive the vehicle with this composite hood secured only by the factory latch.
A suitable heat shield is required to protect the hood from engine-bay heat.
Do not reinstall the factory gas hood shocks, dampers, or struts. Their pressure may damage the composite hood. Lower and close the hood carefully by hand. Never slam or drop the hood.
Composite body panels must be test-fitted before final installation, painting, wrapping, or clear coating. Minor adjustments may be necessary. Installation should be performed by a qualified shop experienced with carbon-fiber or fiberglass body panels.
Confirm that the factory latch and hood pins engage securely before driving. Inspect the hood, hinges, latch, and hood pins regularly and before any track use.
DRY-CARBON FINISH NOTICE
Dry carbon does not include UV protection. If the hood will not be painted or wrapped, apply an automotive-grade clear coat containing UV inhibitors before extended outdoor exposure.
