Installation Notes

• Hood pins are required for safety
• A heat shield is required
• Do not reinstall OE gas shocks, dampers or struts because they place excessive pressure on a composite hood
• Always close the composite hood carefully; slamming or dropping it can cause cracking
• The OE hood-vent mounting locations and mounting tabs may require minor modification or adjustment
• Professional installation by a shop experienced with carbon-fiber components is recommended
